About

I've been writing frontend code professionally since 2016. React and Vue with TypeScript are where I'm most at home, but over the years I've ended up deep in backend territory, CI/CD pipelines, microfrontend setups and different frameworks too — sometimes because someone had to, sometimes because I wanted to.

Nov 2019 – Present

  • Took slow React and Vue apps and and increased page load speed making it 4x faster through profiling and refactoring as well as critical resources loading optimization.
  • Built number of microfrontend apps from scratch, integrated critical functionality across multiple projects, set up CI/CD pipelines, and kept quality in check with unit, acceptance, and integration tests also relying on SonarQube reports.
  • Worked on developing a frontend part for a search engine for scientific documents, a client-side PDF generator, and AWS Lambda/S3 integrations; also handled most of the coordination with external teams.
  • Led communications with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Worked on a mobile payment app from zero to working prototype in under a year, met with the customer, intergrated the app into a superapp host (Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Express).
  • Integrated with a major payment provider so users could pay for ads directly in the app.

  • Migrated an Electron.js desktop language-learning app from AngularJS to Angular 2, also doing refactoring and adaptation work (Angular, Electron.js, TypeScript, SCSS).
